Spring is here, the weather is getting warm, and it is time to have some fun—all while looking fabulous! My makeup bag is full of great treats from Pür! I never leave out without my 4-in-1 Mineral Tinted Moisturizer. It not only hydrates my skin but also acts as a primer and provides light coverage for a casual day. If I want to spice things up, the Jet Setter Eye Shadow Trio adds lots of sass to my natural look, and Mineral Glow (a girl’s best friend) always gives me the perfect sun-kissed look! Who can go without a great mascara? Big Blink is the needle in the hay stack I was looking for, lengthening and strengthening my lashes. For a big finish, I add a pop of color with my favorite lipstick: Moonlit Pearl!
Think your nail polish is a one-trick pony? Think again. This spring, we reveal three of the hottest nail trends—and all of them involve two or more shades. Read on to learn how you can make each look your own!

Things We Love
We admit it: we’re Etsy junkies. Where else can you find so many original fashion pieces and accessories under one roof? One shop definitely worth checking out is Mint Julep Design. Run by SoCal-based artist Monica Chapon (a professional sculptor with a Master’s Degree in Ceramics), this one-of-a-kind boutique is a treasure trove of chic, handmade jewelry, like this enameled whale necklace. We also love her spiky drop earrings—made from real porcupine quills!
1. Judith Jack Collar Necklace ($1,750 at Nordstrom.com) 2. Bulgari Serpenti Bracelet ($54,000 at Bulgari.com) 3. Elsa Peretti Snake Bangle ($495 at Tiffany.com) 4. Tessa Cuff Bracelet ($145 at LuluFrost.com)
This season, the serpent is in! In honor of the Year of the Snake, fashion houses like Cartier, Bulgari and Judith Jack are rolling out gorgeous pieces (with equally stunning price tags). But if you are a true fashion junkie with a slightly modified budget, there are some options for you! This sterling silver snake bangle by Tiffany & Co. is sleek and classy for only $495, and Lulu Frost’s gold coiled serpent with turquoise eyes is only $144.
The serpent trend doesn’t stop at jewelry. Inspired by the exotic mystery of the snake, soft eyes with a bold lip are sweeping the runway this year. You can have it all with Pür’s Natural Eye 3-Piece Collection (link no longer available), featuring our naturally gorgeous Gold Marcasite Eye Shadow, Chocolate Mica Eye Pencil and luscious Impact+ Mascara (only $14)! Add a pop color with our Mineral Shea Butter Lipstick (just $16), and you can get this year’s hottest look for less!

1. Knife-pleat Maxi Dress ($128 at Victoria’s Secret) 2. Jimmy Choo ‘Abel’ Pump ($525 at Nordstrom) 3. Flower Stud Earrings ($38 at cwonder.com) 4. Pür Minerals Art Decadence Collection (link no longer available)
Neutral colors look great on everyone and create a free-spirited sensation. We suggest pairing them with bold pink accessories, like bejeweled earrings and pointy-toed heels. Our Art Decadence Collection (link no longer available) provides an elegant finish to balance your look.
This spring break, head out to the hottest places in this year’s sexiest colors. Hit Miami in Lemon Zest, take over Puerto Rico in a Poppy Red and arrive at Panama Beach in fabulous Monaco Blue. These stunning shades top the 2013 Pantone Fashion Color Report and can be incorporated into bathing suits (foxy one-pieces steal the show), shoes and accessories. Of course, your makeup has to be flawless too! Add a pop of color with Pür’s Island Escape Cream Shadow Collection. This provocative oasis of pastel shades creates a smudge-proof eye that lasts through sunny days and nighttime fun!

The Pür Minerals team was honored to attend the recent spring fashion show and charity event at Saks Fifth Avenue Atlanta to benefit animal lovers and their pets. The event raised nearly $45,000 for the Atlanta Humane Society.
Guests were treated to the best of spring fashion, including decadent pops of color from designers such as Giambattista Valli, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli. Bright hues of lemon, orange and red lifted the mood and left us all yearning for spring.
The highlight of the event included our very own Executive Chairman, Bob Cohen, and his adorable Pomeranian pooch, Foxie, strutting their stuff on the runway.
We invite you to help us give back this month in the name of “puppy love.”

Things We Love
1. Kate Spade Minka Purse 2. Cartier Bracelet 3. Ray-Ban Sunglasses 4. Paige Denim Skinny Jeans 5. Free People Vintage Top 6. Sandstone Eye Shadow
Mint green soothes the soul. Inspire others and set the mood with this perfect pastel. Full of chill vibes, mint green can be worn head-to-toe with soft neutrals for a relaxed look or paired with rich textures for a night out. This cool color is the perfect contrast to your hectic week. Try it with our Mineral Eye Shadow in Sandstone, and don’t be afraid to accent with a hint of gold!

Alice Englert (of Beautiful Creatures) rocks head-to-toe plaid in this month’s W.
Simple yet chic, plaids are bringing “old school” style back to the professional and casual scenes. Wearing plaids matched—or all mixed up—can be bold and flashy or modest and sophisticated. Depending on which plaid you plan on wearing, you can spice up your look with Universal Marble Powder in Spice, soften it with Pink or give it a sun-kissed glow with Bronze. Just like plaids, these mineral powders bring life to your vintage choice by highlighting and brightening your cheeks, eyes and lips. Just add a subtle or bold lip, and you’ve got this spring’s hottest look!
