Some of the best parts of summer are the fantastic farmers markets that pop up in your neighborhood. Get local fresh produce and find homemade soaps, candles, cheese, baked goods and more. And bonus: kids love it too!
Just because it’s a super casual weekend activity doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your style. Take a look at some of these celebrities who manage to always look great in a casual way. Honestly, I think some of these ladies look better here than on the red carpet.
If you are looking to have a good time but also embrace your intellectual side, the Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera exhibit at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art is the place for you! It’s great for a nice date or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the workweek. The exhibit (which ends May 12) houses selected paintings by Kahlo and Diego from their collection Passion, Politics and Painting. The artists offer insight on their intimate relationship, views of society and how they developed their artistic styles. To buy tickets or learn more, visit www.high.org.

The Pür Minerals team was honored to attend the recent spring fashion show and charity event at Saks Fifth Avenue Atlanta to benefit animal lovers and their pets. The event raised nearly $45,000 for the Atlanta Humane Society.
Guests were treated to the best of spring fashion, including decadent pops of color from designers such as Giambattista Valli, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli. Bright hues of lemon, orange and red lifted the mood and left us all yearning for spring.
The highlight of the event included our very own Executive Chairman, Bob Cohen, and his adorable Pomeranian pooch, Foxie, strutting their stuff on the runway.
We invite you to help us give back this month in the name of “puppy love.”
