Get the Most from Your Lipstick

Want to know the secret to a knockout pout? Bold color that stays all day. Make your lipstick last with four quick and easy tips from the brand that knows best.

1)   Prep: Use a damp washcloth to lightly buff your pout. Swipe on a clear lip balm, like Mineral Lip Revival (link no longer available), and use a tissue to wipe off any excess.

2)   Pencil: The color should match your lipstick hue or the pencil can be one shade lighter if the lipstick is dark. Begin by tracing along the inside edge of your pout, then fill in.

3)   Coat: For richer color, skip the brush and apply lipstick (link no longer available) directly from the tube. Blot lips after the first layer and continue with a second coat.

4)   Powder Finish: Use a fluffy brush to dust a very small amount of powder over your pout to lock down the color.
