Not only is a lush, luxurious perfume a fabulous way to top off a romantic Valentine’s Day look, but fragrances are also a surefire crowd-pleaser when it comes to finding that perfect gift (gentlemen, your attention please…hint hint). According to our Pür Minerals beauty experts, the most romantic scents are warm and flowery, laced with sweet notes like vanilla and fruit. Here are our favorites—romance is in the air!

Joy by Jean Patou
This iconic fragrance was a favorite of the ever-so-stylish Jackie O. and once the most expensive perfume on the market. It is reported that 28 dozen roses and 10,600 jasmine flowers go into every opulent bottle. Joy was created in 1930, but possesses a timeless, womanly scent that has managed to cross over into the 21st century.

Fracas by Robert Piguet
Fracas is the classic tuberose perfume, infused with the most sensual of all floral notes, and by far one of the sexiest scents out there. Additional fragrance notes include bergamot, mandarin, hyacinth, gardenia, jasmine, lily of the valley, violet, rose, iris, musk, vetiver, cedar and sandalwood. Unlike other tuberose scents, Fracas is not too heavy or too sweet thanks to sparkling orange blossom and a touch of green which lighten the mood.

With Love from Michael by Michael Kors
Technically this timely gift set contains several different fragrances, but we love the chic, travel-friendly bottles and glossy, cut-out heart packaging so much that we couldn’t leave it off of our list. Notably, the collection includes the new limited edition Very Pretty Eau de Parfum, which delights the senses with a soft, romantic blend of sparkling citrus, coconut, vetiver and sandalwood. For a richer, more sensual scent, try the original Michael Kors Eau de Parfum, also included.
