I have really been looking forward to trying this product. I've only been using it for 2 days but so far I love it. The tinted moisturizer in "Light" was way too dark for me and I didn't like it. This is much different. It's lighter, more neutral and has a really nice consistency. It's got less coverage than the foundation but really bumps up the look of the 4-in-1 without looking too made up. With this I only need to use concealer on obvious blemishes and it really does last all day! I do put just a smidge of moisturizer under it just to help it blend easily but I'm not sure it's necessary. The only thing I can't vouch for yet are the long-term benefit claims but I'll update in a few months as I'll be continuing to use this unless something drastic happens. Why only 4 stars? It's pricey and you have to use a fair amount to cover you whole face so I don't know how long it will last. All in all I'm still in.

I was really excited to try this product because of how beneficial it is for your skin. It is just so hard to put on. I know it has a lot of sunblock but it doesn't go on easily like foundations. It seems thick and smeary if that makes sense. I am going to try it with the correcting primer underneath and see if that helps. It is supposed to have primer in it, but I don't thing it is very good. Just by itself, I do not care for this product. You might as well smear tinted sunblock on your face. :/

Comments about CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 40:

Really good coverage. Comfortable to wear, and a nice high SPF rating. However, it is disappointing to learn that this product contains octioxinate, a chemical sunscreen that is a known hormone disrupter that is absorbed into the skin. I would rather it would be 100% mineral/physical sunscreen rather than containing a chemical such as this.

Comments about CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 40:

Of all Pur Minerals products, this is the one product I like the most (the compressed 4-in-1 powder is the 2nd). The only hiccup is : for some reason, it doesn't spread well with a cosmetic sponge. I use my fingers instead. The SPF 40 is a bonus. I use this CC cream under the 4-in-1 compressed powder to get longer lasting coverage.

Comments about CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 40:

I've been using a week now. I have been considering getting on the mineral makeups but wasn't sure which one. In summer I've used tinted moisturizer or cream with powder or cream and bronzer. I have been finding my age spots and pigmentation need some coverage even in summer plus I want sunscreen. Enter CC cream - I'm currently using Tan. I have medium olive (aboriginal) skin which is dark in summer and can be very pale in winter. I was hoping not to have to use moisturizer but I do find this isn't enough moisturizer for me and as such am going back to moisturizer plus CC cream. One thing of note - I've tried applying with fingers and also foundation brush (1st time using it too!)and the product spreads further and much more even with brush but why this is good is because I use 1/4 of what I was using by applying with my fingers. I've recommended this product to 3 friends, one acne prone, one normal/oily and one oily for reference of whether or not I would recommend.

I have no idea why I hadn't noticed this product until recently, but I'm glad I have now. I love it. I think it goes on well and it feels light, almost as though I haven't put anything on. I find the coverage to be lighter than that of the tinted moisturizer, which is good for me. The only thing I don't love is the smell, though I am getting used to it. The 40spf in this is great too. I've been wearing this on hot days by the pool and it has held up very well. This might be on my list of favourite Pur products.

I use this product under my mineral make-up on a daily basis. Sometimes, I opt to wear it alone if I'm not in the mood to complete the entire make-up routine. It blends beautifully and provides just enough coverage that I don't feel completely "naked" throughout the day. Plus, I love the fact that it has sun protection for my fair skin. I would highly recommend this CC cream to anyone looking for a product to even out skin tone and protect against sun damage, while maintaining a natural looking finish.

Hello. I have crepey and wrinkly skin and I am over age 54. I read some of the reviews by customers and I am concerned because the product is described as having a yellowish look. I can't wear make-up with a yellowish tint or color. I need something that has a light pinkish color to it. Do you have anything that will go with a light pinkish complexion?
                Thank You.

Pur Beauty if you are looking for alternatives to try, you may prefer Liquid Foundation or the Air Perfection SPF 50 Foundation! 4-in-1 Liquid Foundation provides a matte finish and Air Perfection SPF 50 provides a natural dewy finish! Both look amazing on the skin the only visible difference is the finish!

Hi Pur Beauty, the CC Cream is a moisturizer, cream foundation, SPF 40 and does have a neutral primer built into the formula. However, if you feel your complexion has any redness or hyperpigmentation, you may want to apply either the Redness Reducing Primer (green) or Dark Spot Correcting Primer (peach) before applying the CC Cream to even out any discoloration. I encourage you to try it both ways and see which coverage you like best!

Beth, the CC Cream does not come with a removable foil seal. It does come in a box with clear cap! CC Cream is a correcting cream foundation, primer, moisturizer and SPF that contains incredible ingredients to brighten, clarify and address lines and wrinkles! It provides a medium coverage and is available in 4 natural shades that work beautifully with either 4-in-1 Mineral Makeup or Balancing Act setting powders!

                Hello,
I just opened my second tube and noticed that it is expiring this month! Can I still use it for another month or two past the expiration date, or will the SPF no longer work? I bought a 2-for-1 offering from Ulta, which seemed like a good deal at the time, but with the second one about to expire as soon as I opened it, it is not really a deal at all. I wish I had noticed earlier. :-o
                Thanks,

Tinted Moisturizer provides a sheer to light coverage. CC Cream provides a medium to full coverage. Applying CC Cream with the Liquid Chisel Brush does allow you to blend the color more evenly and allow you to apply more in areas you where you desire a fuller coverage.

For a sheer hint of colour with SPF try Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 complexion product or if you are looking for a transparent or colour-less complexion product try Rescue Squad SPF25. Hi Stella, unfortunately our CC Cream is not gluten free as we use a skincare active that is derived from wheat. However, if you're looking specifically for a spot lightening product then you may want to check out our Get Bright serum which is a skintone evening powerhouse. If you want light coverage and SPF with a luminous finish then our 4in1 Tinted Moisturizer would definitely wow you without gluten. Hope that helps!
