I would recommend this powder to anyone and everyone! It's translucent, has a beautiful, flawless finish, and feels so silky. It does a fantastic job of finishing the liquid veil. The compact makes it great for travel.
Along with many others, I personally have an oily T-Zone. I've searched & searched for the perfect product to really hold back the oil from shining through my liquid foundation throughout the day. I've tried it all...from high end to drugstore! Then I heard about this product. I tried it. Didn't even need to load it on...and it WORKED. Bye Bye Oily T-Zone. My daily makeup routine would not be complete without it. This product really does what it claims to do. Perfect for touch ups & a great translucent powder to help stop oil from shining through!!
I like this powder for touch ups during the day because my skin is very oily. This powder works well with my Light Tan shade of 4n1 powder foundation. Leaves a nice satin finish. Wished this compact came with a mirror and the mosaic colors were more consistent with each compact. Otherwise a good product.
This is a beautiful powder! It goes on so silky and gives such a perfect finish! I have oily-combo (especially in the summer), and I can apply this without worrying about build-up. I applied this over the CC make-up and what a beautiful finish it gave! I plan on wearing this over the mineral powder. Beautiful product & I hope they never discontinue!
I have a unique blend of skin color/tones mixing some Cherokee Indian with Middle Eastern gives me a possibility of pink or olive for undertones. I pulled more olive. However, I'm not tan because I live in PA now (was born in FL). So, I tan very easily, but unfortunately with the summer fading into winter (I swear we skip fall), I lose my color and go right to white. It costs me so much in money with finding the right foundation but then I came across PUR and was so excited! Depending on the primer I use, I can actually keep my same shade of foundation (Golden Medium) throughout the year now. This has been that one added extra to add to my must-haves throughout the year! I wasn't sure I'd like this and was so scared of the reviews that it was too light, too dark, etc. Yes, it can be, but I'm finding for me, it depends on my primer. If I use the CC in Medium and put this over, I keep a shade that I should be for summer. If I use the primer in peach, I get a tad lighter and if I go with the green, I get even lighter (primer, foundation and then this). It's amazing that the primer can affect it alone! I wasn't sure this would hold that matte look, but it does, without looking fake. I attached a pic and here's what I have on: Primer in peach/natural, Golden Medium 4-in-1 Foundation and then Balancing Act over top. Spritzed with the Pur Mineral Mist to set and of course, the Big Blink mascara and Game Day shade lip color. I love this and I think it does an excellent job. I really do think it can work for almost any skin tone...but the primer is so important. I've worn this without a foundation and just over the top of primer and it looks fabulous and gives me a porcelain complexion...but for work, I like to make sure I'm set all day so I wear the foundation too.

Balancing Act Oil Control Powder
I love this product - it is the best ever for covering my oily T zone BUT was rather disconcerted to read on the back of the compact about "sunburn alert".That it may increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn and to limit sun exposure while using this product.WE are going in March to the Carribean so naturally am concerned about using it there. What should I use instead? Am confused as in the reviews not one person has mentioned this and they all seem to be using it in the summer. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi! Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to respond and put your mind at ease about this amazing product. The warning is on the product due the inclusion of lactic acid in the ingredients, which is a component of the shell of our proprietary Ceretin Complex. Industry regulations require the "Sunburn Warning" for anything that contains lactic acid because in high enough concentrations it can act as an exfoliant which would increase sun sensitivity; however, the lactic acid content in Balancing Act is less than .01% of the formula which isn't enough to exfoliate anything, quite frankly. So, the product does not pose any sort of sunburn hazard as evidenced by the consumer reviews you've read. It is unfortunate that the sunburn alert is required to be printed on everything based on content rather than concentration which is confusing for many customers. Obviously, in a tropical climate one would typically wear sun protection due to longer exposure and more intense rays which could lead to a sunburn, but rest assured you can use your Balancing Act powder to still control shine without increasing your chances of getting burned. I hope this has helped. Enjoy your holiday!
